Age-Friendly Action Plan

The City of Oceanside joined the AARP Age-Friendly Network on April 7, 2024. The City is working with the Center for Excellence in Aging & Longevity at the San Diego State University Social Policy Institute to develop a 5-year action plan. The City hosted several listening and action planning sessions  to gather community input about needs and priorities that would make Oceanside more livable.  This 5-year action plan was developed based on information gathered during the public outreach.

Remember to bring your beach chairs and blankets! Food trucks and family-friendly activities will be available at the event.

Please note: canopies and large umbrellas are not allowed.

Parking is limited! We encourage carpooling, biking, taking transit, or walking. Bikers, walkers, and transit takers can stop by our booth for a free gift.
