Age-Friendly Action Plan

The City of Oceanside joined the AARP Age-Friendly Network on April 7, 2024. The City is working with the Center for Excellence in Aging & Longevity at the San Diego State University Social Policy Institute to develop a 5-year action plan. The City hosted several listening and action planning sessions  to gather community input about needs and priorities that would make Oceanside more livable.  This 5-year action plan was developed based on information gathered during the public outreach.

Concert at the Pier: Summer Kickoff

Join us for a FREE Concert at the Pier: Summer Kickoff Event featuring Perry O'Neal and Savor: The Santana Tribute Band! The concert will be on Friday, June 20, at the Junior Seau Beach Amphitheater from 5pm - 8pm. 

5:00pm – 6:00pm - Opener: Perry O'Neal 
Joining us as our opener is the talented Perry O'Neal! Perry will take you on a journey through the golden era of music, enchanting you with a variety of oldies hits that will have you singing and dancing along.

6:00pm – 8:00pm - Headliner: Savor: The Santana Tribute Band
Get ready to be blown away by an electrifying performance as they pay tribute to Carlos Santana!

Food trucks and family-friendly activities will be available at the event.
