Age-Friendly Action Plan

The City of Oceanside joined the AARP Age-Friendly Network on April 7, 2024. The City is working with the Center for Excellence in Aging & Longevity at the San Diego State University Social Policy Institute to develop a 5-year action plan. The City hosted several listening and action planning sessions  to gather community input about needs and priorities that would make Oceanside more livable.  This 5-year action plan was developed based on information gathered during the public outreach.

Movie at the Pier - Top Gun: Maverick

Help us kick off our Summer Movie Series with a showing of Top Gun: Maverick at the Junior Seau Pier Amphitheater!

Movie begins at dusk (approximately 7:15pm) on Saturday, May 13th! Kids 12 and under can stop by our booth starting at 6pm to make a fun craft before the movie begins. This event is FREE and open to all members of the public.

Movie will be rescheduled in case of rain. If you want to sit up near the screen, please bring your own chairs.
